    An indulgent chocolate-tasting masterclass with Australian bush foods.  Join Jade Davidson from Lucky & James, and Brigid Corcoran from Saltbush Kitchen, for a delicious chocolate experience!

    This is a relaxed tasting class designed to take you on an indulgent journey through the world of chocolate and the incredible flavours of the Australian landscape. 

    The session will run from 2pm to 4ish (depending on how much we chat about chocolate!)

    ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
    Jade Davidson. Jade is a trained chocolatier, formally of Monsieur Truffe, Cacao Fine Chocolates & Koko Black with 20 years of experience making chocolate. Jade started Lucky and James in Ballarat in November 2020 bringing a premium chocolate experience to our town.

    Brigid Corcoran. Brigid is the owner of Saltbush Kitchen with 10 years of experience in bushfoods. Brigid is dedicated to bringing great Australian bushfood flavour to your everyday cooking. 

    • EVENT DETAILS
      Chocolate tasting. Jade will take you through a curated selection of 5 chocolate varieties, discussing the origin and qualities of each and sharing her 20 years of experience in all things chocolate.  
    • Australian Aromas. Brigid will take you on a flavour journey of the Australian landscape, focusing on native flavours that work beautifully with chocolate, made by Jade. Enjoy the taste and aromas of the Australian bush. 
    • Dessert, bubbles & conversation. Enjoy a glass of sparkling as Brigid continues your flavour journey through the Australian landscape and serves 2 little desserts showcasing Australian bushfoods in chocolate.  Ask questions and share your favourite flavours of the day.
    • Your adventure begins. Receive a little gift bag of chocolate bushfood treats to kick start your own Australian chocolate indulgence at home. 

    DIETARY INFORMATION
    Given the focus of this session we cannot accommodate all dietary requirements in this class. Dairy and gluten are included in the ingredients used.     ACCESS NEEDS
    Saltbush Kitchen is located in a heritage building in Ballarat. Please notify us of any access needs, the event space has 2 heritage-sized steps on entry. 

    CANCELLATION POLICY
    You can cancel your booking with a full refund up to 2 days prior to the date of the workshop. If you are unable to attend your scheduled workshop you are permitted to send someone in your place. Saltbush Kitchen reserves the right to alter or cancel a class. If a class is cancelled for any reason a choice of rescheduling or full refund will be given. Minimum numbers apply to run classes. If minimum numbers are not met, the class will be cancelled. At least 48 hours’ notice will be given and a choice of rescheduling or a full refund will be offered.
