Yes we are lucky enough in Australia to have our very own lemongrass. Found in the warm and arid regions of Australia, this grass has a lovely complex spiced lemon flavour, similar to Asian lemongrass. Enjoy in savoury cooking with fish, greens & vegetables.
Ways we love to use native lemon grass:
- With butter & salt on fresh white fish.
- Toss your fried calamari in lemon grass, mountain pepper & salt.
- Sprinkled over pan-fried greens.
- With Tofu
