Tomato & Kunzea Sauce
A delicious Australian inspired tomato sauce with native kunzea. This is a staple tomato sauce at the Saltbush Kitchen HQ. I enjoy it as a condiment with meats, tarts and quiches and also as an ingredient to tomato-based dishes. This sauce has a unique Australian flavour to it using native kunzea - a unique aromatic herb from Tasmania that resembles rosemary.
Beetroot Fritters with Kunzea
Yummy fritters using beetroots, corn and native kunzea. These fritters are great for breakfast with eggs, or for a light lunch with salad.
Sweet Kunzea Custard
A creamy and sweet custard with great flavour thanks to the addition of native kunzea. Kunzea is similar to rosemary, it is a fragrant herb with hints of lemon, honey & eucalyptus. I love to serve this in sweet pastry shells…spoon in the set custard and you have yourself a delightful Australian dessert.
